Clean Water, Strong Content

Overview

Scope: The project scope includes creative direction, video content production, photography, and content strategy, ensuring cohesive and impactful storytelling across all platforms.
September 2023 - July 2024

Description: I collaborated with Potomac Conservancy as a project-based creative contractor, developing and delivering engaging video and still content for social media, website features, and annual reports.

THE Challenge

The goal? Create short-form videos and photo content that felt real, local, and emotionally grounded — showing what protecting clean water actually looks like on the ground.

Potomac Conservancy wanted to expand their reach and deepen their connection with local audiences.

The Process

I joined community cleanups, community events, and conservation site visits to capture the heart of Potomac Conservancy’s mission — real people, hands in the water, doing the work.

From native flora to the volunteers protecting it, I documented how stewardship takes shape in everyday moments.

Video Production & Photography

I began by identifying what converts viewers into advocates—real people, real places, simple hooks. The strategy was simple: show the river through the eyes of the people who love it most.

Concept & Strategy

Each piece — photo or video — was designed to feel authentic and scroll-friendly. Clean visuals and no overproduction.

Editing & Post-Production

Shared across Instagram, their digital newsletter, and website, the content gave followers a front-row seat to the Conservancy’s work — and why it matters.
